During the quiet time between Christmas and New Year
I found time to begin sewing for Henry...Henry is still in utero, but will be here before too long... knowing how fast time flies and all.
A tiny blue bubble of Imperial batiste - easy care fabric for a working mama who probably doesn't have too much time to iron
Handsome mother of pearl shank buttons on the front yoke
Three shades of Anchor blue floss for the smocking design which is Innocence from AS&E issue 53
And on New Years Eve, right before that glass of wine appeared next to my sewing machine,
Henry's bubble was done.
Henry is expected to make his entrance late January/early February, which is a good thing as I have a bit more sewing to do for Henry and also for his pink first cousin who is due in about two weeks.
Two sisters (friends of ours) having their first babies - two weeks apart - one pink and one blue!
Off to sew....have a wonderful day!
